Don’t fear the VOCALOID3 Editor!

Don't Fear VOCALOID3

Recently, I’ve noticed more than a few people mentioning the VOCALOID3 Editor, or more specifically, people who are against using it in favor of V2. I hope I can assuage any of those fears here by discussing the changes to the user interface, the improvements in clarity, and the reasonable price.

The Galaco has landed!

August 5th, 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m proud to announce that as of earlier today, I was graciously allowed to download and install Internet Co.’s new VOCALOID3 voicebank, Galaco. Thanks to all the people out there from all over the world that took the time to watch my SeeU original song on Nico Nico Douga, “I’ll See U”, which recieved over 1000 views in the three or so weeks it was out, earning me this privilege of a lifetime.

My first impressions are good. Her vocal quality seems soft, but not weak; ideal for ballads or dark songs, my specialty. At times I noticed a stark Kagamine Rin-ish quality to her voice, not that I’m complaining. All in all, I think with a good little bit of practice, she will make an invaluable addition to my small family of Vocaloid voices. Now I wonder how she sounds with Engrish lyrics…
